Do you remember what part of Paris that is? Because I can't imagine it happening in some of the neighborhoods where I lived. (richer, nicer neighborhoods, maybe)

Also, since the days when I lived there, I heard that many parts of the city have become more livable (unfortunately, more gentrified too).

Long time no see, David! If I remember, this story is inspired by a real apartment somewhere in the 11th arr. Probably not the cheapest place to live in the city, but the story is more of a dream of what could be...

How's life in Takamatsu? That city is still one of my favorite places in the world.

I see. I assumed it was a real story.

The 11th is actually pretty "middle of the road" as far as Paris is concerned.

Life is good in Takamatsu, although right now my life mostly revolve around home and work and not much else. I avoid going places with the virus around.

Last Fall when cases were down, I could go to the islands just a little bit, but right now virus + cold weather means that I'm staying home a lot and don't enjoy my surroundings as much as I'd like.

I guess when Spring comes, we'll spend more time outside.

Cheers.
